Who We Are...

Heath Bechler and Richard Kelsey created King's Alcohol / Drug Treatment Center in November 2002.  Our initial goal was and continues to be the development of evidence-based treatment services to meet the needs of people with substance use disorders.  We saw a need to create treatment services that went beyond the typical standard of care found in the treatment industry.  We strive to create a treatment environment that is both scientifically sound and is a client-friendly, comfortable place to seek help.

Substance Abuse Treatment Philosophy

It is the philosophy of King's Alcohol / Drug Treatment Center that alcohol / drug use, abuse and addiction are both preventable and treatable.  We are exclusively dedicated to the treatment of such issues, and KTC believes in the ability of its clients to regain control of their lives through faith and comprehensive, scientifically-based services that have been determined to be the best practices in the substance abuse and addictions field.

We believe in a partnership between our clients and counselors that fosters the quality of life through the process of treatment and recovery.  We believe in beginning where the client is, and in tailoring treatment methods to meet client needs.  KTC can facilitate effective interventions and be a catalyst for recovery, not the creator of change.
