"KTC helped me by providing a safe and faith-based place for me to stay
when I knew I could not go back to my previous home. I was lost,
terrified, scared, and determined to stay sober; I was finally ready to
do 'whatever it took.' The Lighthouse was a safe haven for me, as were
the people who ran it. The counselors all had the personal knowledge of
addiction, whether in themselves in the past or in someone they loved. I
am so grateful that they were there at the right time for me, that is,
when I was ready to make the changes in my life in order to stay clean."
